Andy Rogers has a passion for plants, people and Jesus Christ. Having grown up around horticulture and having a passion for plants, Andy worked in the Nursery and Landscape Industry for 15 years prior to entering ministry full time in 2015.
Rev. Andy Rogers serves as Lead Pastor of The Way, having previously served as Lead Pastor of one of the two merging churches, City On A Hill UMC, that came together with Woodstock UMC in December of 2019. He also serves on the Cherokee County Homeless Coalition which is a collaborative effort with other local United Methodist churches seeking to alleviate challenges those who are homeless face in rebuilding their lives. He is currently an ordained Elder in the North Georgia UMC Conference.
He received a B.S. in Landscape Design from Auburn University, a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University, before returning to school to earn a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary.
Andy and his wife Kristen, having met in youth group, were married in the fall of 2000 and have two precious daughters. They also have two fun loving dogs.
In his free time, Andy enjoys spending time with family and friends, working in the yard, reading, nature walks, and water skiing.
