STATION 1

Welcome to the Making Room Prayer walk.  We at The Way Woodstock hope that you will be blessed as we seek God’s vision for the future of Latimer Hall.  Weather permitting, stand in front of Latimer Hall.  If the weather is not cooperative step just inside the entrance and stay dry.  Look upon the passing traffic.  Notice the public parking lot across the street.  Have you ever witnessed people parking then walking through The Way parking lot to go to the farmer’s market or the green space or the downtown businesses?  Look at Latimer and imagine a window into a well-lit foyer filled with people smiling and welcoming visitors, not just on Sunday morning but at multiple times throughout the week.

Hebrews 13:1-2.says

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

Remember how you felt when you first visited your favorite place.  Can you imagine showing the same hospitality to new guests of this church?

Pray for those passing by and those passing through.  Pray that Latimer might be used by God as a beacon of hope to those passing by on Towne Lake Parkway.  Pray that this campus will be seen as a welcoming place, a place that draws people to Christ by drawing them onto our campus and makes them feel welcome enough to stay.  Pray as the Holy Spirit leads.  When ready follow the markings to station 2
