What would you do if faced with an unexpected pregnancy? For some it’s hard to imagine. For others, there is no imagining; it’s part of their story. For far too many who face unexpected pregnancy, they face it alone. They sense there is nowhere and no one to turn to for help. They also often feel a sense of hopelessness. We can help change that. We can offer hope. The hope found in Christ Jesus and offered through the Hope Center.
Our Christmas Miracle Offering will go to support this vibrant hope-filled ministry based here in Woodstock. The Hope Center’s goal is to provide compassionate care to all women facing unplanned pregnancies. Their passion is making sure women are equipped, educated, and empowered with the information and resources they need to make fully-informed decisions about their unplanned pregnancies. They believe no woman should ever be pressured to make a decision against her will. They offer a place where women of all ages can go to be assisted with their decisions, and have access to free resources, free emotional support, and freedom to choose her own way. In short – they offer hope.
Over the past 5 years, The Hope Center has journeyed alongside over 5,000 clients and celebrated in the birth of over 1,142 children that might not otherwise have been given the opportunity for their lives to impact this world. Christmas is not “our” birthday. Each year we challenge ourselves to give an “above and beyond” offering (up to as much as we spend on Christmas gifts for others) to go towards life-changing, difference-making ministry in Jesus’ name. Your giving will enable countless women in search of hope in the face of the unexpected to find the help they need and be reminded that they are never alone.
You can be a part of the miracle in three ways: PRAY, SERVE, and GIVE. You can pray on your own or become a prayer partner. You can sign up to serve in various roles within the ministry and through their thrift store. You can also give to this year’s Christmas Miracle Offering and 100% of your gift will go directly to the mission and ministry of the Hope Center.
